Growing Rose Garden

Dear Fellow Gardner,

I am planning to create a rose garden this spring.... when is the right time to plant the stems and which is a good place in Islamabad to find the variety of Roses.... Do the people at Rose Garden (Aabpara) would be helpful in giving away something that I can use.

I prefer buying roses from patokki, every year they have new variety of roses which we hardly find in any other city, i am planning to go there in january to buy a bijajo rose bush one the biggest rose blooms i've seen plus it's fragrant and the petals are red on top and white underneath.

Hi Ishtiaq.the best & largest variety is offered by Fateh muhammad nur,islamabad & second largest variety by Allah tawakal nursry,bakra mandi,Rwp. please choose the variety which is disease resistant.roses are the most beautiful flowers followed by Decorative dahlias & mums.

this is the bejazo rose(Ronald Reagan) introduced by p & j roses.its not fragrant.
