Injiir???

Is injiir a good choice for lahore? And is it a tree? How large can it get?

yes anjeer (fig) can be grown easily in Lahore.it is a shrub of almost 6 to 8 feet height ..but while buying beware not to buy local anjeer which grows wild it bears small figs.ask nurseryman to give you hybrid plant.

There are two varieties ie, one black & the other white based on fruit colour. Black is commonly available but white is difficult to get.I already have black & looking for white. You may go for the black,while also keep searching for White.

A nursery is selling the hybrid one for 1500/- and local variety for 250/-. Is the price okay? Should i buy it?

If you are able to contain/constrict the roots of the edible fruiting fig tree it will crop sooner and more prolifically from a young age

Can you grow it from seeds found in a dried white anjir?
