Zahid sb hai.bring some bulbs like Amaryllis & daylilies bulbs.these bulbs naturalize very well in our climate.if you are planning to come in winter season you can also try david austin roses(Englidh roses).their shape is very unique & all are fragrant.

Islamabad has high potentials of creating a paradise .Magnolia varieties (except the Grandiflora, which is locally available) is what I would recommend.

Aoa Arif sb i dont think mignolia other varities will be succeful in Islamabad.if you have visited F.F.mess in Abbottabad these is a pink mignolia.i layered one but was a failure in Islamabad.it vwas just because of the climate diff.same was the case with Hydrangea.

I am afraid umar is right. Perhaps you should try the cultivar "little gem" of m.grandiflora. It is dwarf form of southern magnolia. I myself of thinking about trying stellata (star magnolia) from seed as chiltern seeds claim it to be flowering within 3 years from seed :)

Only the Mignolia Grandiflora survives in our summers.the other mignolias are really for hilly stations i think.what is your opinion Adnan.i have tried the pink one but died.Grandiflora is best choice but the flowers are not in abundance am i right.
