| Other Details | Cananga is relatively new plant in Pakistani gardens. It belongs to the custard apple family, hence the flowers are very similar i.e. green and almost invisible in the leaves. The picture shows one flower on the left but it is not visisble. Flowers are initially green and then turn yellow. On crushing the petals, one can smell a highly oriental sweet scent. The actual plant for distilling oil is the Cananga odorata. The medium height tree flowers profusely and it is an easy maintenance plant |
