Gardenia jasminoides from seeds..!!

I have used but it seems they are worthless for our region... our plain baalu matti is the best for taking cuttings and seedling medium... if you want to sow your seeds please refer to my post on Seedling potting mix...

Epsom salt is Magnesium sulfate (used for tomatoes, roses and petunia)
Ferous sulfate provides extra iron which used by iron-inefficient plants like gardenia to reduce cholorosis..

izhar bhai my gardenia seeds are not germinated even i followed your instructions for potting mix etc but failed. inshallah give a 2nd try in spring

izhar bhai gardenia jasminoides seeds start germinating. should i remove the plastic sheet from top of pot or it should remain? or please also tell me water and sun requirement etc

Remove the sheet...bring them in full sun... keep moist all the time.... after 15 days start giving them Ferous sulfate (half teaspoon in 2 litre water) twice a week...

izhar bhai is it ok to bring them in full sun. seeds are not fully germinated. few are just emerging from ground

If you think they are weak then keep in area with morning sun... shift gradually to full sun...
