One can find it only in Empress Market, i had searched it in my nearby markets but couldn't find so finally went to Empress and got it for Rs. 60 a kilo.
You are right Farooq, It is lotus root and commonly used in Sindhi vegetable recipes.
Haven't heard of cooking banana flower but will definitely try once i grab the banana flower. Thanks for shairng...

The experts are the first, in fact the only to speak & how could they be wrong;the plant indeed is Stevia.If you recollect,the plant was discussed earlier also(Izhar participated), but its picture was not posted.The discussion also introduced a new member- Suffi,working in Qarshi Industries Haripur,where research work is being done on this plant.He has spoken very rarely, ever since.

hello, i m rashid and i have stevia plants with two varities and i m working on stevia form 2008 and we cultivated in field and now we are try to get extract from it, because it is problem to get extract form stevia plant , we are close to succuse, if u want the stevia plant i can give u
