I have Buddleia Flower Power growing in full sun since October, last year. It has grown about 4 ft. in Height and bloomed last month. The colour of the flowers was nothing like what we see in catalogues. Perhaps it was the intensity of sunlight that colour was extremely dim and dull, almost colourless. It is not compact like bushes should be, branches growing haphazardly. I have pruned it since then and plan to shift it in better weather to some corner where it will receive less sunlight. Hope my experience will help you in making a decision.
